VitalStats Catches IDN Coding Discrepancy

VitalStats notified Integrated Delivery Network (IDN) ABC that their E&M coding distribution was statistically different from the Healthcare Financing Administration. The service allowed the IDN to determine that one of the physicians was coding too high. The service illustrated the appropriate chart for the physician and within two months, the physician was coding comparably to the peer group.
